What's the difference?
You may notice I have two superhero games, Invulnerable and Metagene. What gives? Why two?
Invulnerable came first. I wanted to make a game with a little crunch, and tactical combat, where it was easy to make a character with a diverse array of powers and abilities. In many games, the more diverse your power set, the more complicated your character is to build. It can make a simple concept into a dizzying challenge! But a lot less so in Invulnerable. Metagene is smaller, easier to get going quickly, with less detail.
Metagene and Invulnerable share the same setting, Earth-Omega, which is also given a little detail in Cosmic Cutthroats. Earth-Omega is detailed fairly extensively in Invulnerable.
Have a look and let us know if you have any questions!
