Metagene Super Hero RPG

Metagene is a fast-playing, rules-light roleplaying game of heroes and villains! With random and point-based character creation, rules for investigation and combat, and a built-in setting, Metagene has everything you need to leap right into the action!

• Four Attributes: Aura, Body, Brains, and Move, rated from -2 to +a bunch.
• Hero Types give you an origin and a special ability. Is your hero Athletic, Witty, or Grim? Or are they Scrappy, a Celebrity, or a Reformed Villain?
• Origins provide some guidance for what powers you have. Battlesuited, Freaks, Mystics, Gadget-Mongers, even Sidekicks and Normals.
• Freeform Skills. Spend a Vigor point if you want to use a Skill in combat. A lengthy, random sample skill list is included.
• Task Resolution is 2d12 +Attribute, +Skill if you spend that point of Vigor.
• Spend Maneuver Points from Powers to get additional, dynamic bonuses to hit, dodge, and initiative.
• Powers and Skills are rated Amateur, Trained, Veteran, Global, or Cosmic.
• Includes seven sample Heroes, and seven Villains!
